  • Role Overview:

    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated provisional psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients across various age groups, providing assessment and therapeutic interventions to support their mental health needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children, teens, and adults.

    • Providing individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the needs of clients.

    • Collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

    • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.

    • Adhering to ethical guidelines and codes of conduct.

    • Participating in ongoing supervision and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

    Requirements:

    • Accredited four-year Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology from a recognised institution.

    • Registration as a provisional psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)

    • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable

    • Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is preferred

    • Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willngness to get one.

    • National Criminal History Check

  • The Administrative Assistant oversees front office operations, including reception duties, and offers administrative assistance to staff within the practice.

    • Represents Positive Mind Hub in person, over the telephone and in the community in a professional manner.

    • Handle inbound calls and emails, and address general inquiries

    • Coordinate calendars for booking and rescheduling cliens

    • Set up and manage invoicing, billing, and third-party funding

    • Ensure clinic procedures are maintained

    • Provide ad hoc support as needed

    • Allied health students are encouraged to apply and gain valuable experience in a dynamic allied health private practice.
